I have been enjoying your recent blogs a lot especially the roach fishing at Bury hill. You're right these river carp do pull some and it was one heck of an enjoyable scrap on the light tackle. Would be nice to see the rivers back in their banks and spot on for some chub and perch hunting.It does seem like a repeat of last years floods, only worse.
That's some great action there Mark. Simple tactics and big fish, what a combination. I should imagine that last one almost pulled you in!!
